Best food markets in Palma
Open Monday-Saturday 7am-4pm
Plaza de la Navegació, 07013
This is the place to be in Palma, not only to buy your fresh veggies but to enjoy some delicious tapas washed down by a glass of local wine. Visit on a Saturday for the best atmosphere and try Ecoilla, an organic stall serving everything from vegan meat and vegan cheese as well as local fruits and nuts.

Similar to the Santa Catalina market, you can buy your weekly groceries and afterwards sit and enjoy some local lunch. Don’t miss Pasen y Vegan, an all vegan deli serving vegan cheese and vegan cured meats, the perfect lunch spot!
Open Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays 6am-3pm, Mondays & Wednesdays until 2.30pm and Saturdays until 4pm.
Plaza Pere Garau, 07007
Buy everything here from fresh produce to artisan gifts and affordable clothes. Pere Garau is a very international neighbourhood with good vibes, music and dancing.

If you’re looking for an organic food market, this one’s for you. Located in a vibrant square in the city’s old town, its the perfect morning activity before exploring the rest of Palma.

Avenida de Gabriel Roca, 33, 07014
1930 is a food hall located across from Palma’s harbour. Despite not selling groceries, you can enjoy a delicious evening meal at this food hall which offers plenty of vegan options such as vegan pad thai, burgers, poke bowls and dim sum.

- Santanyi market
Wednesdays & Saturdays 9am-2pm
Perhaps one of the most famous markets on the island, Santanyi is known for its fantastic fruit and vegetable stalls as well as local olive oil and dried tomatoes. You can find beautiful handmade items such as ceramics, textiles and soap which make the perfect gift. Sit in the main square afterwards or head to renowned vegan restaurant Grá for a spot of lunch, one of our favourites!
- Pollensa market
Sundays 8am-1.30pm
In the historical town of Pollensa, located in the north of the island, don’t miss the colourful Sunday market full of local produce, handmade gifts and gorgeous textiles.
3. Soller
Saturdays 8am-2pm
Get your fix of traditional Mallorcan arts and crafts, as well as locally grown produce. Soller old town is picturesque so make a day of it and afterwards head down on the beach at Port de Soller, a short tram ride away.
4. Artá market
Tuesdays 8am-2pm
Located in the north east of the island, the quaint town of Artá hosts a weekly market famous for its delicious local oranges and handmade raffia items. Don’t miss it!
5. Sineu market
Wednesdays 8am-1pm
Every Wednesday head to this iconic town in the heart of the island for their local market.
6. Inca market
Thursdays 8am-1.30pm
For the biggest market in Mallorca, head to Inca to get your hands on some fresh fruit and vegetables and handmade local Mallorquin products, you may even see some traditional dancing!
