Today we want to share our vegan finds in the beautiful little town of Santanyí on the east side of Mallorca. A cosmopolitan town with a combination of local and international inhabitants (mostly the German community), in Santanyí you can find an abundance of quirky shops, cafés and bars. There is a bi-weekly market in Santanyí on Wednesdays and Saturdays selling local delicacies including clothes, ceramics, jewellery and plenty of food; fruit, veg, olives, wines, bread, you name it! Grá Irish Gastropub

Grá is one of our favourite restaurants in Santanyí and all the food here is 100% plant-based! Owned and run by a friendly Irish couple, this pub-style restaurant is like a home away from home. The menu changes regularly so you can always try something different and it never ceases to surprise. Sit back in the up-cycled chic-style terrace both out front and back with plenty of space to enjoy a vegan lunch with friends. And if you fancy it, wash your lunch down with a pint of Guinness (yes Guinness is vegan)!
Retroway

As well as a boutique hotel, Cal Reit is also a renowned restaurant serving innovative vegan food and drink. In the summertime don’t miss their buffet-style Sunday brunch where you get to try a bit of everything.
India Restaurante

Known as one of the best Indian restaurants in Mallorca, India Restaurante is a family-owned eatery which has been going for over 20 years. They have a full vegetarian menu in which every dish can be made vegan (if it isn’t already). We recommend the mixed vegetable curry with rice and veggie samosas!

Es Molí is tapas crazy! In this hidden gem, you can try a range of tasty vegan and vegetarian tapas options including garlic mushrooms, tumbet, patatas bravas and wok de verduras in a beautiful garden setting.
Sa Botiga

One of the best terraces in Santanyí located right in the heart of the old town, always with a lively atmosphere, especially on market days. Sa Botiga has a small range of vegan dishes but they definitely make up for it with flavour and taste!
